Port of Kemi Ltd’s shore power project is exceptional, as the system being built will supply electricity at three different voltage levels and two different frequencies. The shore power system enables cargo vessels to use electricity for their daily operations instead of diesel. For Kemi Port Ltd, the project is an important step towards more responsible and sustainable port operations.
Nordic Electro Power Oy is delivering the shore power system for Port Of Kemi Ltd on a turnkey basis. Scope provided by Nordic Electro Power includes the design, procurement, programming, and installation of the electrical and automation systems.
