“The second part of the renovation has proceeded as scheduled, and even the weather conditions have favored us. Right now we are doing pile-driving and side bar work. After the renovation we will have more than 290 meters of thoroughly repaired quay in use” says Port of Kemi’s technical manager Jari Heikkilä.
The first part of quay II renovation was completed in the beginning of summer 2019, and as planned, the second part was started in May 2019. The main contractor of the renovation is Tallqvist Infra Oy and electrical contractor is Bilfinger Oy.
